Abq Health Partners Customer Care Review

Urgent Care facility in Journal Center website says to book an appointment and then they delay it 3 separate times. Forget their "efficient " scheduling.

I went into an urgent care center at the Pan American FRWY location. In a nutshell I paid for tons of administration costs and spent a whole 2 minutes of diagnosis time with the doctor. Bill was $323.00 and my insurance is paying $129.32. What a joke and shame!!! This is the state of the Affordable Health Care Act. I wouldn't even pay for insurance if I wasn't required too by the government. I plan on paying in 1 dollar monthly increments. I called AHP to lobby my complaint and haven't heard a word back from them. Insurance premiums should be based on your overall health and not your wages. I pay an exorbitant high premium for little to no service.

Billing dept abq health partners

I( was seen by Dr. Balcomb back in March 2015 for dupretyn on right hand. service included several injections and manipulate the fifth finger of right hand. I was then billed for total around $8000. my portion was $547. I started paying abq health partners $50 monthly. I now have balance of $347 ands still paying $50 monthly. Received letter from ABQ health if the bal was not paid in 15 days the bal will be turned over to collections. I think it is ridiculous to threaten me with collections. Once the bal is paid in full, I will no longer seek medical att. at ABQ health partners

Alb Health Partners Threatens Patient Can Not Have Surgery Unless you can pay the full copayment

I scheduled my should surgery over a month in advance and did not rec a call from the finance office until 4 days prior to the surgical procerdure being performed. She informed me that instead of the $200 deductible that my co insurance would be $1862 and unless the doc considered the procedure to be an emergency my surgery would have to be rescheduled. I informed her that there was no way I could come up with that amt of money in 4 days and they changed the amt to $500 but did not call me with that offer until late Friday with my surgery scheduled for Monday. I feel that the threats for rescheduling when someone has been seeing the surgeon for a year is unexcusable and extremely ncaring and not patient friendly. The lack of thought and consideration made me extremely frustrated with the care that Alb Health Partners would give to someone in extreme pain. After many tears on the phone we were able to come up with $500 for the surgery...but some more time and warning would have been nice!! Thanks for nothing Alb Health Partners
